It's the last week of SEC play before the tournament. It looks like places 4-10 are really up for grabs depending on how all the series turn out. It should be a fun weekend of softball.
AUBURN at TENNESSEE
I'd like for my Tigers to take 2 from the Vols, but I'm going to go with a Tennessee series win in this one. I think Penta should be able to steal one, and if Shelby Lowe is healthy it should be a pretty competitive series.
Tennessee 2-1.
KENTUCKY at SOUTH CAROLINA
Gonna go with a Kentucky sweep on this one. Don't think there's really much to breakdown on this one, SC probably won't make the tournament. Kentucky sweep.
OLE MISS at GEORGIA
I think this should be a really good series. Ole Miss coming in hot off the series win at Tennessee going into a Georgia team that just lost the series at Auburn and will be looking to get some momentum going into the SEC tournament. I don't think Ole Miss has the bats to keep up with Georgia. UGA sweep.
LSU at MISSISSIPPI STATE
After a disappointing final two games at home vs Florida, LSU should get a bit easier of a weekend going to Starkville. MSU has shown they can play with anyone in the league this year though. Should be a close series but I'm going LSU 2-1.
ARKANSAS at TEXAS A&M
With Arkansas only needing one win to secure the SEC regular season outright, I think this is going to be a rough weekend for A&M, which is the last thing they need after getting swept by Mizzou and Houston in the midweek. Arkansas sweep.
MIZZOU at ALABAMA
This one should be a great series as well with Mizzou coming in on fire. Alabama is limping in after losing the series to A&M and the midweek to Western Kentucky. After this past weekend off, I expect Alabama to come out and play up to their potential. Series could go either way, but I'm going Alabama 2-1.
MERCER & FGCU at FLORIDA
Florida sweep.
